Agra Metro Project a Boon for Agra Tourism

It would be more than 8000 Crore rupees expenditure on the 29.5Kms rail project. The total project is likely to be complete in 5 years while the first phase of 14 kms is expected to be finished in a stipulated time of 2 years.

For almost a decade with the promotion of compressed natural gas operated vehicles the pollution has decreased. This problem of emission of smoke will hopefully be even more curtailed with the arrival of Agra Metro rail. Agra Metro starting date;- 

Agra Metro train Priority corridor will be inaugurated on 6th of March 2024 virtually by PM Narendra Modi in the presence of UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath & Governor of UP Smt. Anandiben Patel. They took first ride of Agra Metro train with school children’s and local administration staff between Taj Mahal metro station up to Mankameshwar Temple station.

Agra Metro Fare;-

From zero to one kilometer, the fare on the Agra Metro will be INR 10/-

From one to two kilometers, the fare on Agra metro will be INR 20/-

From 2 kilometer to six kilometer, the fare will be INR 20/

Once the commuters have bought the tickets, they will be allowed to stay on the metro premises for 20 minutes
