5 Days Kashmir Tour Itinerary

On the first day of your tour catch your flight between Delhi to Srinagar. Upon arrival you will be picked from the airport and transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Srinagar. Later start your Srinagar sightseeing tour by visiting the famous mughal gardens of the city called Chasme Shahi Garden, Shalimar Bagh and Nishat bagh. This sightseeing will mesmerize you with the natural beauty. In the evening come back to enjoy the shikara ride at Dal lake which is the topmost attraction of Srinagar. Enjoy some shopping as Kashmir is famous for woolen cloths and embroider work. Stay overnight at your hotel in Srinagar.

The second is pre decided to explore sonmarg which means the meadows of gold. The total distance between Sonmarg and Srinagar is 85 kilometer and it will take around one and half hour to reach there. Upon reaching check in to your hotel and then start your sightseeing by visiting the Amarnath peaks, machoi peak and sirbal peak. Later hire a pony ride to enjoy the Thajiwas Glacier which is covered with snow around the year. Here you can also enjoy the snow activities. In the evening enjoy kashmiri cuisines at your hotel. Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and start your drive to the Gulmarg which is around 120 kilometer and takes around 2 hours to reach there. Gulmarg means meadows of flower. The Gulmarg valley is located on the height of 2730 meter which is famous as Asia’s seventh highest skiing point. Visit here the famous Lord Shiva temple situated between the green grass fields, after taking a pony ride or by trekking you will reach up to the longest cable car point of Asia and enjoy the cable car ride which is top attraction of Gulmarg. Upon reaching on the top of the ski point you can involved in other activities as well such as skiing and trekking. Return back to your hotel in Gulmarg. Stay overnight at hotel.

This day you will be driven towards the next heaven of Gulmarg wakeup early and start your drive for Pahalgam which is located on a distance of 130 kilometer. Pahalgam is a hill station located near the Lidder river which is a home of adventure sports such as river rafting, river crossing and trekking. Here you will visit some famous tourist’s spots such as Chandan Wari the base camp of Amaranth Yatra, Betaab valley and Aru valley. Evening stroll in the local markets famous for Pashmina shawls, handicrafts items, and wooden articles. Stay overnight at your hotel in Pahalgam.

On the last day of your Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam tour you will keep a bundle of memories and driven back to Srinagar to catch your flight for onwards journey.
